Meet Thom & Renate from Art & Walk Karpathos and their family session. A couple from northern Europe, (Sweden and Netherlands) living permanently in the mountains of the island. Just below its highest peak, Kali Limni (Good Lake is the actual translation). In their own vineyard, with their 2 adorable toddlers, Freyia, Cornelis and Jax, a black labrador. Thom and Renate organise hikes all across the island and I couldn’t recommend any better one, if you are on location and want to discover some remote places. They also run a small winery where they organise wine tasting sessions. As well as some art lessons, all done with love and respect to the nature of Karpathos. This love reflects in their photos of their family session as well. A love towards each other, a beloved family who cherishes each moment they spend together.
Cornelis just arrived in the family. And what a better way to celebrate this loving moment, than that of a photo session! An early August morning, in an altitude of approximately 800 meters, with the breeze of fresh mountainous air that just arrived from the Aegean sea. Playfulness, love and caring moments is the essence of these photos. Memories that will be cherished for a lifetime in this small corner of the world.
