In a day of digital files and computers, it can be easy to overlook getting a wedding album and think you don’t need or want one.
I genuinely believe wedding albums are so important and worth the investment. It is the most important part of what I do. Although all collections include high-resolution files, if you have a physical album to hold at the end of your experience is my goal. Here are a few reasons why I’m a huge advocate of albums:
A wedding album is a couple’s first family heirloom.
It’s something that you are going to pass down generation to generation. Something you will pull out to show your children and grandchildren when they ask you to show them photos from your wedding day. My grandparents are no longer with us, and I cherish the photos we have from their wedding day. I cherish the wedding album of my parent’s wedding day as well. I cannot replace those photos. They are priceless to me.
In a world of digital age, it’s so easy for hard drives to fail. Flash drives get lost, files get corrupt.
Yes you can make backups, but there’s nothing more secure than having hard copies of those images archived in a wedding album. A printed photo cannot fail or become corrupt like files do.
If you hire me to photograph your wedding day, you have invested in photography.
You chose to document your memories. I hope you choose to display them and want them displayed! If you purchase an album, it ensures that you have photos with accurate printing and top quality. There’s nothing worse to invest in photography and then print the images poorly. Invest in the printing as well. The photo quality you were drawn to when booking your photographer can be seen in the final printed images as well.
I’m so proud to offer these albums to my clients.
Each album is hand crafted and their quality is top-notch. If you have any questions about albums or would like to add one to your wedding collection, please contact me via e-mail, or DM me in Instagram.
